We are Jenna and Omarie, a dynamic event duo with over 8 years of experience creating unforgettable entertainment for our clients.

​

Originally from Michigan, the sunny state of Florida has become our second home, where we've established ourselves in the event industry over the past four years. Jenna's background as a wedding coordinator and Omarie's knowledge as an audio engineer has given us a well-rounded perspective on event planning and execution, which we bring to every event we DJ. We take the time to understand your preferences and customize the music to your specific tastes, ensuring your guests have a great time on the dance floor.

We also love creating unique sets for every event! Crossing all decades & genres, we specialize in weddings and cater to a variety of family events like sweet 16s & bar mitvahs as well as corporate events.

FAQs

WILL AIRWAVE HAVE THE MUSIC THAT I REQUEST?

Yes. We have just about every song ever produced, including the newest music. In the rare event we do not have a song you’d like to hear, we’ll either track it down or allow you to provide it for us. As always, we DO NOT charge our customers for music we have to find.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF AIRWAVE IS AVAILABLE ON OUR EVENT DATE?

Click here to request a quote! We usually respond within hours but please allow up to 48 hours for an email from Jenna. Since our availability changes daily, the best way to find out is to call us directly @ (517) 449-7365.

HOW MUCH TRUST DO I NEED TO HAVE IN MY DJ?

Airwave values the effort that goes into every wedding and understands that it’s our job to compliment the day with exceptional entertainment. Our staff genuinely cares about each couple and the success of their wedding. That’s why we put in the tireless hours of preparation before each wedding to ensure the couples’ expectations are met and exceeded. We accept your trust and return that trust with performances that last a lifetime. Ideally, we want your wedding to be the best wedding you’ve ever attended, no matter the size or budget. Our commitment to you extends from the first call to the last dance and beyond.

DO YOU HAVE MUSIC THAT WILL ENTERTAIN ALL AGES AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS?

​​Yes, we perform many events every year that involve multiple age and cultural backgrounds and can always find the right blend of music to suit everyone’s tastes. You’re always welcome to provide any music in the rare event we do not have a song.

HOW MANY HOURS BEFORE MY EVENT WILL AIRWAVE SHOW UP?

We generally show up 1-2 hours before any event to set up the equipment and make sure everything sounds and looks perfect. We ALWAYS bring plenty of back-up equipment just in case.

DO YOU PROVIDE MUSIC AND EQUIPMENT FOR WEDDING CEREMONIES?

Yes we can provide music and equipment for your Wedding Ceremony.  Make sure to let us know that you will also need us for the Wedding Ceremony. Airwave can play all your wedding music as well as provide microphones to be used by you and your officiant so you guests do not miss a single moment. 

WILL OUR DJ TAKE GUEST REQUESTS?

Absolutely!  We’ll work with you prior to your event to determine the specific styles and individual requests that you’d like played. We’ll also encourage your guests to make requests (if you approve) to make sure we play the songs that you and your guests want to dance to.

WILL OUR DJ TAKE GUEST REQUESTS?

It is extremely important to have your booking confirmed in writing. Airwave will provide you with a written contract outlining the terms of your service. We will sign the contract and send you a copy to retain for your records. It is important to have a contract to guarantee your DJ services. We would never suggest booking any DJ service with out a written contract.
