"The coordination extraordinaire"
Looking for hype, versatile music and expert event flow? Jenna's your girl!! As the co-founder, she wears multiple hats at Airwave and handles it with poise. Most of time when you give us a call, she will be the one helping you pick your package, create a custom quote, etc.
She got her start in the wedding world very young at age 12. With her mom's dance studio right next door to a wedding venue back in Lansing, MI, she would setup centerpieces, help with decor, etc. just for fun. Once she was old enough to get hired, she became the office manager and event coordinator for the venue and eventually Omarie joined her to work events.
Fast forward a few years, they ran into a DJ cancelling last minute on a bride. With Omarie's knowledge in music production and Jenna's background in singing, dancing and performing, they stepped in as DJ & MC that night. The rest is history!!!
Jenna & Omarie became the venue's in-house DJ team and eventually grew into a full-blown company, The Party People Events. With 60 events booked in just their first year of business, they really became a dream team.
Jenna would host, Omarie would DJ, and eventually she became an awesome DJ as well. With her childhood being full with memories of listening to Motown from her Dad, Pop at her Mom's dance studio, Rock from car rides with her brother, and tons of Hip-Hop & Rnb vibes from hanging with her Older Sister, she became a melting pot of love for music.
She records her own music too!
After a few years successfully working weddings in MI, her and Omarie moved down to Florida to attend Full Sail University.
They began DJing again after having their first born and quickly transitioned into a full-time company, Airwave Events.
She duals as a DJ/MC and prides herself on offering "modern, non-cheesy, yet enthusiastic MC-ing". And when it comes to music, she loves mixing together genres, decades and music from around the world. Her passion for events shines through with expert coordination of timeline & flow, interesting and unexpected mixes, and just in general loves to talk with brides about weddings (even when it doesn't have to do with music).
She's available to be booked as a solo DJ or as a team with Omarie, together known as "The Signature Airwave Duo". Together, they bring a whole new vibe to events!
Omarie Payno
DJ, AUDIO ENGINEER & CO-FOUNDER OF AIRWAVE
"The vibes supplier"
Omarie's your guy for all the party vibes! As co-founder of Airwave, he puts his all into what he does, from DJing events to designing custom photo booths, he's a well-rounded, talented entertainer with a passion for music and events.
At just 9 years old, he began producing music on his mom's laptop and recording his friends' vocals on tracks. He even ran studio sessions out of his school! But his love for music started even before then. Each night, listening to Detroit's radio stations, he had an ear for more then just the beats and the lyrics, but for the soul behind the music, the way it was mixed, etc.
After working with Jenna at a wedding venue in Lansing, MI, the pair became a DJ/MC team and quickly grew a name on the local scene. They then moved down to Florida and he attended Full Sail University graduating with a bachelor's in Audio Engineering. Together, they began DJing again and Airwave was born!
With his focus on mixes and excellent sound quality, clients fell in love with his chill, easy-going vibe. He loves spinning Hip-Hop, Rnb, Motown, Pop & Throwbacks. And he's known for throwing in some Country & Spanish vibes too depending on the crowd!
He's strictly music!! So although he doesn't host/MC, he provides some amazing mixes for a great dance party. If you're looking for a DJ-only service, he's got you!

Janel, known professionally as DJ N.E.L, is a dynamic and versatile traveling DJ born in Pennsylvania and raised in Florida. With four years of experience in the industry, DJ N.E.L has cultivated a reputation for bringing infectious energy and impeccable music selection to every event he plays.
DJ N.E.L has a rich background in DJing for a variety of occasions, including private events, birthdays, weddings, concerts, & more. He has also had the honor of DJing for prestigious institutions such as the University of South Florida (USF) and Saint Leo University, showcasing his ability to cater to diverse crowds and settings.
He joined the Airwave fam back in 2023 and his been bringing great vibes and interactive MC skills to weddings & events ever since.
From opening up for artists at concerts to spinning tracks at intimate gatherings, DJ N.E.L can handle any music genre, ensuring every event is memorable and filled with good vibes.
